Full-time Masters Student, East Asia School of Theology (EAST).
I am currently in the 2nd year of my Masters of Divinity in Christian Ministry (MDIV-CM). I will graduate in April 2018.
I am originally from the Brainerd Lakes Area. I graduated from Brainerd High School in 2001 and went on to complete my B.A. in Youth Ministries from Northwestern College in St. Paul, MN in 2004. In 2005, I moved to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to answer God’s call to serve in full-time ministry with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). This became my home for 10 years. My ministry with YWAM included various expressions such as: mercy ministries among homeless persons, evangelism in the Amsterdam’s Red Light Districts, youth discipleship/mentorship, and leading youth mission’s teams to south-east Asia.
With the blessing of YWAM and the CEFC Missions Commission, I made the move to Singapore and began my studies in January 2015. This short season is focused on theological education and personal development. My goal in this season is to equip myself for further missions and ministry in the years to come! The future is the reason why I’m living the present as I am...
I feel the Lord leading me toward pastoral ministry in the context of south-east Asia long term, among foreign people living in a foreign area and culture. Simply stated, I want to minister in a church for expats and foreigners.
Ministry highlights from 2016:
I was nominated and began serving as EAST Student Body President.
I planned and lead a mission’s trip to Hanoi, Vietnam in May 2016. This 2-week trip was focused on serving the various ministries of an international church and a local student ministry.
2017-2018 Ministry Goals:
I am enthusiastically working toward finishing my MDIV-CM!
I have been invited back to Living Hope Methodist Church to serve another year.
Specific Prayer Requests:
Please pray for perseverance in my studies.
Please pray that this season of study and academic exercise would lead to deep heart and faith transformation with the living God!
Thank you for your prayers!
Thank you for the many years of faithfulness, relationship, and partnership. I look forward to sharing with you in the coming months what God has been doing in and through me.
