Sunday Morning Community Groups

Community Groups mainly on Sunday mornings between our services gives us an intentional way of caring for each other's need and growing in Christ

Book of Mark: Led by Deborah and Richard Bell will start Sept. 17. Study together, as a group. The 3 question method is applied to passages in the book of Mark.

  • What is the passage about?
  • What do I learn?
  • What does this passage reveal about God?  About people?
  • What promises, warnings or commands are included?
  • What key truth is evident?
  • How will I apply it?
  • What situation in your life is similar to something in the passage?
  • How does your thinking/attitudes/actions need to change in order to align yourself with the truth in this passage?

Together, as a group, we grow in our relationship with Christ and with each other as we study the Word in community, intentionally applying it to our lives.

Our mission is to see every member, attender and follower be part of a Community Group that unifies us as a body of believers that are 'one hin heart and mind' (Acts 4:32). We desire for these groups to be led by people that want to study God in the Word and in the Spirit. When we study together we are becoming more connected to each other and able to be a stronger body of followers of Christ.

These Community Groups are:

  • Open to All and Welcoming
  • Consistent and Accountable
  • Equipping and Discipling
  • Bible-based, Gospel-centered Studies
  • Community-centered and Multi-generational

We envision a ministry that effectively cares for people, accelerates spiritual growth within people, and shifts the work of community to the people (Eph 4:12).

DO I NEED TO SIGN-UP? Nope. We just want you to be present and coming. All groups are upstairs in the new classrooms (Jerusalem, Bethlehem, etc.) so head there in-between the services and join a group. Or you can contact Scott and April Tappe to know what group is available.
